The Wisteria plant is a climbing vine which produces vibrant purple hanging flowers in the spring. They love bright sunlight, and are relatively fast growing and easy to care for. The biggest challenge is patience - they can take a few years to flower - but sometimes you can get lucky. The good news is that they have a very rapid growth rate and often they can flower twice in a season. Due to their fast growth and stunning flowers, they are popular for the facade of houses or hanging over a trellis. This post is a Wisteria appreciation post so scroll down to see them in all of their glory. The photo at the top of this post is from @stephahearn.
